Brecht continues to share steady positive messages from the Greenland ice cap.
The weather on Friday was tricky due to low visibility from a misty snowfall which created challenging whiteout conditions. They still managed to progress 20 kilometres as they headed into the weekend. Yesterday was a repeat performance in slightly better meteorological circumstances which allowed Pierre, José-Luis & Olivier to clock an additional 21 kilometres.
Our team is nearing a uniquely bizarre landmark known as Dye 2, a former radar station that provides a curious visual distraction for expedition teams traversing an otherwise barren landscape.
