Sisimiut discovery
2025-03-20

Our team wrapped up their Greenland expedition by exploring the area around Sisimiut and in particular the Arctic Circle Trail over the past three days.

Brecht led our eager participants on a climb up to the breathtaking and serene environment that represents the purity of Greenland's back country. The conditions at this end of the trail were much better than what they encountered in Kangerlussuaq, especially due to the ample snow cover and colder temperatures that allowed their sleds to glide behind them on their ascent.

Once again, the photos speak volumes:

Brecht and the team arrived back in Sisimiut this evening, had a last look around the town, and are now cleaning up their equipment and slowly reorganising for their departure from Greenland tomorrow.

Tonight they'll enjoy a celebratory dinner and a good night's sleep before their international travels back to their respective homes commence.

The Arctic Circle Trail has left deep impressions during this Plan B adventure and we look forward to hearing more stories from our team once they've had time to digest their uniquely sublime experience.
